Plan B was set up by the family of Dom Jackson, a kayaker who was lost to the sea in 2017.

Dom’s only means of communication was a mobile phone stored in the rear hatch of his kayak and he was unable to access it when the weather changed and he got into difficulties.

Plan B promote and educate the importance of carrying a means to call for help whilst outdoors.

Started by Roy Beal in 2020, Clean Jurassic Coast have gone from strength to strength very quickly. The original idea was to network beach cleaners but Clean Jurassic Coast has now grown into non-profit Community Interest Company with a focus on education and inspiration.

After some successful fundraising last year, they now own a boat and will be able to tackle the hardest to reach places and remove all that horrid plastic and other litter from the natural world.

Working with organsations such as the Jurassic Coast Trust and Ocean Recovery Project, the Clean Jurassic Coast Team will help to keep England's only natural World Heritage Site free from litter, thus ensuring future generations can enjoy and marvel at this unique coastline.
